Was at work tonight and a buddy said he and his dad were fishing Rayburn this weekend. I'm not fishingit, but, it got me to thinking how I would if I was. As I understand it, Sam is up 6-7 feet and a lot of fresh vegetate is flooded but, by the weekend (given the amount of water being released) some are saying the lake level could be FALLING by the weekend. I'm not looking for specifics to Sam, but was wondering, in general, how would you approach a condition like that if you were faced with it. A lake in a flood condition BUT with a possible falling water level.

throw a few thousand boats in there along with the variables you mentioned too. I plan to launch early and approach it real loosely and remain hopefull.

shouldn't have even said the word Rayburn.. Maybe, but had I not, it wouldn't take long to figure out about what lake got me thinking about it. As I say, i'm not fishing but it seemed an interesting combination of water conditions that would apply to almost any reservoir with similar conditions.
