I have a member, of our high school fishing club, fishing Grand Lake in a couple of weeks (high school national championship). He has never fished the lake before...how would those of you, that have fished Grand Lake, suggest he fish.....I would think it'd be a spawn bite...but, would welcome any suggestions....thanks....

Yes, they are starting to show up on beds. I will be up there later this week and give you a better report.

They should be on beds but that lake is not known for sight fishing. Look for flat pea gravel areas in the back half of creeks. Fish will be very shallow and very spooky.

If this rain will jack the lake up 2-3' it will be on! Find the willows and pull out the flippin stick!
