Me and a Buddy spent Saturday trolling and had a good day. Boated about 30 fish with a 70/30 split of Stripers to Whites'. We boated a real nice one that is a PB for both of us, even though he caught it. I claim a part as boat owner.

Excellent!
What were y'all trolling with? I've been kicking around trolling for some Texoma Stripers.

Nice work! You done better than I did. Fish were really scattered. Never marked any big schools. Ended up with 1 box fish.

Yeah, they were spread thin. We'd hit a couple at a time then a dry spell and so on. Took home 4 stripers and 3 large whites. Made for a good fish fry yesterday. We let the big girl go for another day. Try not to take more than I can eat at a meal. Never seems to make it out of the freezer. Like a big black hole.

Im headed up to Texoma this coming weekend. Did you find anything around Cedar Mills on the Texas side? Any advice on depths (water and lures) would be appreciated.

I don't know the lake well enough to know the names of locations. I put in at the 377 bridge. Two weeks ago I marked a lot of fish west of the bridge on both sides. This weekend they were scattered all around. Seemed to get aggressive mid afternoon, but never marked large numbers. All mine came in 30' of water form the last 5'. 4" soft plastic shad imitations. This is only the 7th time I've been on the lake, and first time back to back weekends. Definitely very different between the weekends. Caught them on white and chartreuse. Pretty much all I fish with. White was the better bite.

I have been trolling on Texoma of and on for 30 years. I use Rapala #9 Shad Raps, Silver and black shad when sun is shinning and gold when it is cloudy. Troll 2.9-3.5 MPH depending on what seems to be the right speed. Also use Rapala Husky deep diver in Blue Glass, and Texoma is the only lake I catch fish on with that bait. I trolled Easter weekend 2 days with 3 other people, we caught 40-50 fish with a 15+ and 18+. Threw several back, to lazy to clean them all. Tried to fish Sunday to ruff for me. LOL
