Took my wife to lake fork this weekend. And it was brutal. I was skunked for the first time that I can remember, I was on some descent fish last weekend but nothing this weekend.
My wife caught one yesterday and that was it. I love lake fork but it can be a tough lake sometimes.

Don't feel bad. Fished 12 hrs Friday for 3 fish. My buddy and his wife fished 10 hrs Saturday for 2 fish. That lake can be tough for anyone. Everyone we talked to had a tough time. But the next cast can net the fish of a lifetime for you so I guess I will just keep on trying. LOL

It'll do it to you occasionally! Didn't do very good yesterday myself. One 3.9 and that was it.

My wife and I went down on the neighbors dock while ago no fish but I did shoot a rubber water moccasin didn't know the neighbor put a couple down there earlier in the week so when I saw it I thought it was real and shot it. Guess I will have to go buy him another one.

Good to hear...only because I can now take my boat out of the "for sale" category since I am not the only one. Fished Saturday afternoon / Sunday morning and had one fish. Thought I was so bad that I needed to get out of the hobby. Sorry you are as bad as I am.....lol. We will get'em next time.

It happens. If people are being honest it happens a few times a year despite great conditions and season. Probably the most pressured and educated bass in Texas. Funny thing about that lake that keeps me coming back is how one day you can be the zero but the very next day you can crush them and be the hero.
