I was thinking about all the stuff I throw away after cleaning a day's catch. Just wondering if anyone makes fish stock out of the leftover heads, bones and tails after filleting. Any tips or advice? Seems like it could be an awesome way to get some stock for soups and whatnot.

Use backbone only no heads or tails or fins gotta keep em cold until you use em then just do like other stocks add onion garlic jalepeno carrots spices and water boil simmer and skim. I like makin my own stocks you can regulate the salt. Hope that helps
