had another fun day today, justin fished fork for the first time with me about a month ago, and his first fork bite was a biggun that came unbuttoned half way back to the boat. so as this place does it got under his skin and he had to come back for more. well, today he solved that itch, third cast of the morning netted and 8 lb 12 oz stud which wasa new personal best, on the lft popper. we also caught quite a few bed fish today on hyper freaks. if you guys have never thrown the hyper freak on a bed you are missing out, they respond very well to it. here's a couple pics from today.

great job! we spent the last 2 days there, no big bites for us. just up to 5 pounds, but saw some bigger fish, just hard to get bit sight fishing them.

rob i actually had seen this fish a couple days before and we stayed back and fished for her first thing this morning,the soft touch with the popper got her. working it very softly. i agree it has been very difficult to get the bigger fish to stick around.
