Do you return it to its bed? I caught several bed fish at White Rock today and just got me wondering. I try to release as close to where I caught them. If you release them away from their bed do they know where it is?

Yes, they know. The reason they took your lure is the same reason they swim right back to it. They are protecting it. I wouldn't throw them in the live well and drive across the lake at the end of the day and then release them, but they will go right back to it if you release it.

they will return to the same area and perhaps the same bed where she was born from many miles away in a fairly short time. Proven by tagging.
