I would never run close enough to put anybody or their boat in danger nor am I ever going to pass somebody in an area I don't know very well.

While sand bass fishing on EM with a slab spoon I once caught a skier with the trebles the second time he came through the school of fish and threw water all over me and my boat. My cast went over the tow rope just in front of the guy and slid up and into his arm as he was speeding away. He spooled me and I lost a good slab spoon and a second school of sand bass. A short while later the shore patrol boat came and tried to give me grief over the incident and tried to say I was throwing at the guy (I was, but I didn't admit it. My 2 partners and I kept telling them he was too close, twice, we were still wet from the spray, and I was fishing and he just happened to get hit by accident.) but in the end the shore patrol agreed with us that the guy was too close and it was his fault. Make sure you have all your boat registration and licence info. with you, cause they'll check you for everything in a case like that. I always carry it all so I was good there as well.

2 different @$$holes in Bullets did this [censored] to me and a buddy on fork a couple weeks ago. coming out of big mustang in front of the bridge and got up on pad. running about 40 between the 2nd and 3rd bouy from the bridge, and these 2 idiots blow by us AND spray us. this was on a weekday - not even any tournaments going on. sure wish they would have blown their lower units off on some timber!! some guys are just idots!!! not too many bullets around here so some of you probably know who I'm talking about.
