We weighed 7.41, finished less than a pound out of 25th place for the 1st day. Will see what day 2 holds... hoping for that big bite... 9lbs is holding big bass as of now... team BY -GOD.

STEVE B Extreme Angler S Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 2,202 odessa tx	We took a couple checks today anyway. 11th today, 14th overall.. partner lost a really big one friday, he was using a fairy wand and 12#line, that fish would have put us well up in the standings.. we weighed 4 pounders both days tho. Still some decent fish there. 10lbs took big bass for the tourney.. team BY -GOD.

In the 20 plus years I have fished Amistad -- I have seen it come full circle more than once. From wimpy line and egg beaters to broomsticks with braid.. It all depends on the conditions, numbers and size of the fish..
