Spent a few minutes scanning the fishing tackle at Walmart. Noticed the chance to support Women's Heart <3 Health by purchasing a Zebco 202 Slingshot combo for $12. This is either my 2nd or 3rd time to do it - a small price (or way) to support the ladies - both anglers and non-anglers. After watching entertaining sunfish videos on Youtube or stopping by to read the Bluegill/Sunfish forum, I decided it's time to start my own sunfish adventures for 2015. Spooled new line on the reel. Suffix Seige in Tangerine color - of course. Made a few casts with the outfit and it's pretty darn smooth for $12. Coupled with a small arsenal of tackle and a camera I may be able to post pics of some of these beautiful fish in the future as well. Jeff [img:center] [/img]

Love those ultra light combos especially for twelve bucks. I usually buy the combo and replace the reel with an open face spinning reel that came off of another combo. Can't beat the price to catch Sunfish. Side Note: Looking forward to seeing some Sunfish catches.

I picked up four of the 4 1/2 foot rods with the Micro 11 reel for $33.00 last month. I prefer the Micro 11 reel to the 202. You will not need a small arsenal of tackle. Slip bobbers, #3 split shot and #8 hooks plus a box of worms together with a bucket for your fish will make you ready for sunfish. Welcome to the sunfish crowd. We are looking forward to the pictures of your catches.

Weather it's at Walmart,Acadamey,Bass Pro, or any other tackle shop. I always love a good deal on fishing tackle. Great price for a sunfish rig.

I went expensive. Got the Bass Pro Series! Love em. Side Note: Those cheaper combos do make good sunfish rigs!
