Looking for a place to catch some channel cat with my 70 year old dad. Would like something close to Clifton and easy to get to. We don't have a boat so we would have to bank fish. Would even be willing to fish stock tanks or private lakes. I would appreciate and ideas. Thank you.

In Clifton you wouldn't be far from Meridian State Park. Never been but heard its a hidden gem. I'm just over in China Spring so if you go and its good let me know!
