I just recently moved to Bayou Vista near Galveston and have several green lights I can fish from my boathouse. The problem I am having is that the glow soft plastics and jig heads I have been using in years past fishing white lights are not working for me. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good artificial bait to use in the green lights so I can stop using live bait.

Thanks for any information provided!

JB

small crappie jigs work best no matter how big the fish are under the lights.

I usually throw Gulp ripple mullet (dark colors) or swimming mullet (light colors) on an 1/8 oz jig head and do just fine.

Berkley gulp swimbaits, I try not to get any swimbaits bigger than 3 inches. Rapala jerkbait, and MirrO'Lure should be killer lures.
