Fished the early morning on Belton and caught 27 fish. Slow down your presentation and keep it among them. This cold front did not hurt my fishing. As always the big trick is finding them. Don't give up on cold fronts. Fish every chance you get.

Well it was more a commentary on how cold fronts can shut down topwater bite. I got up at 330 a.m. to go to Texoma for some topwater and that cold front shut it down for sure. I can get fish and I know they are out there, just didnt work out. There is always next time. Cold Fronts still suck lol

Tell me about it. Two weeks ago on Texoma I was seeing 63 degree temps. Yesterday in Little Mineral I got 56. Stripers are biting well. I got seven box fish but crappie time looks like its going to slide into may for the big lake.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Another cold front this morning with a good north wind. Belton yielded 34 fish with 4 hybrids released. Again; don't give up on cold fronts.

I agree to a point! fish can be caught any time with any weather pattern. I was commiserating about the cold front originally because it shut down a top water bite that got me up at 330 in the morning to drive to Texoma lol. the topwater had been showing up but that cold front killed it and made my attempt futile. I still feel entitled to hate said cold front no matter what happens in other bodies of water with other situations lol. But great job on Belton Sir I know that lake can be very generous for sure! Might go fish it some time but I have to master this beast of a lake to the North!!!
