 Question about Juglines during the Spawn?

I am wondering if I set juglines out overnight during the spawn where to set them? Do the catfish come off the rocks/riprap at night? Do I need to set jugs close to the rocks or maybe 20-30 yards out from them? Thanks for advice?

Not sure where you fish but I put mine in about 3 to 5 feet of water during the spawn in spawning water. I fish Texoma fish are still in 8 to 10 foot last week

What kind of jugs do you use free floating or weighted ? I don't do as well during the spawn but do good just before and after the spawn.Right now cats are starting to bite well.

This will be my first year to try juglines around the spawning beds. I will use weighted lines so I can hopefully find them at daylight the next day. I plan on catching only big ones! HA HA

Jugs this time of year.\ Is more chasing than catching. You would be better off.
Tying up in a good looking rocky cove, with trees along the shore.
Would work out better.
