I had a 175 Johnson for 9 years and running good, but gas is not great. So I am trading it in for a new and more fuel efficient engine. Does the Suzuki 175 fit in the category of fuel economical, torque and speed class for a 20 foot boat?

We are getting a 150 Suzuki on our new boat. Everyone I know that has one loves theirs.

My other consideration would be a Yamaha 4-stroke.

I herd that from a lot of people. Every boat dealer we went and looked at sold and serviced Suzuki.

Check out the new Mercury 150 four stroke. Its a 3 liter and getting good reviews.

The Zukes are good motors and I've heard they are very fuel efficient. They have a 200 four stroke, four cylinder thats supposed to be nice.

Suzuki has worked hard to build a good motor and improve their image over the last 10 years. They are the most popular outboard in many parts of the world.

Yamaha 200 HP SHO would be great on a 20' boat.
