Action was not as good as yesterday but it stayed steady. Used the Foam Grasshopper again. Today's Video.

Had fun with Bass and a Bluegill this time using the Foam Grasshopper! Even got an action shot of a Bass chasing another little Bass that jumped out of the water. Today's Video.

Here is a short video clip of the Bass that chased the little Bass while I was fighting the one. Was able to zoom in and slow the video down a little; it looks like it missed the little Bass on when it jumped in the air but caught by the shore! Video Clip.

Used variants of the Foam Grasshopper using Foam Cutters that came in the mail yesterday! Calling them a Beavertail Grasshopper and a Foam Damsel Fly. The Beavertail Grasshopper is "chunkier" compared to the Foam Grasshopper and the Foam Damsel Fly mimics a small Dragon Fly.Today's Video.

Started out fishing the Red and White Tube Fly used yesterday while kayak fishing. Had a strike and a miss, and then a hook up with a Bass. Then, after no takes for a while, switched to a White Foam Grasshopper in Size 12. Managed catching a couple more Bass, then lucked into a bed of Bluegill. Caught a number of them, then switched to a Green Foam Grasshopper in Size 10. Was able to catch a couple more Bass that went about 13", and then closed the round with one last Bluegill! Fun stuff! Today's Video.

Always appreciate the videos and photos. I know that fishing and videoing at the same time is a tasking thing. So thank you.
I may have missed this in an earlier post, but where are you fishing in these videos?

When I was fishing at a friends pond this weekend there were thousands of small green grasshoppers around the pond. I was looking for some hopper design patterns. Thanks for posting.

Had fun this past weekend on the lake. Past few days, it's been work and more work. However, did get to break away for a quick trip. Fished for about an hour and caught four fish... - a little Sunfish that went for a COAF Guadalupana, a nice sized Bluegill, a Bass, and another Bluegill that went for a Foam Grasshopper!
Today's Video.

Managed to catch a Bluegill and three Bass using a White Foam Grasshopper this evening. Fun stuff! Today's Video. Pattern still works; especially like using it when the local pond is starting to get clobbered with "green stuff".

... fish were going for a Size 16 Foam Grasshopper.

No Bruisers other than a nice sized Sunfish; no worries though, they all put up a good fight on the Micro Fly Rod!

Cannot recall how many fish were caught and released but over 20 would be a good "guestimate".Today's Video.
