Just wondering if any fish have decided to show up in the main lake yet? Been a few weeks since I have been out there.

We're still Catfishing and doing well, but the first reports of any Whites and Hybrids came in the last couple of days. I'm going to try my first White Bass trip tomorrow and see if there's enough fish to go around. At this point, probably most boats will be jockeying for position at the Waterfall. Last year when this happened, Adam and I would head for Pelican Island and have the fish all too ourselves as everyone else was "Casting, crossing lines and discussing the fishing at the Falls"! coach

Still going to keep a container of Danny Kings in the boat just in case! thumb

Good Luck!

Thanks,

Thanks for the report! I agree that waterfall is a nightmare on the weekends. It's good fishing at about 4:30 am to about 5:30am. Then the crowd shows up and I leave. Truthfully when all the boats show up the fish leave anyway.

Best of luck to you guys. Hope you put the hurt on some white bass!

Caught 40 today, noon to 2:00 near the white sign. Not a bite before noon. Wind was tough

Good luck

Good to hear the report of whites coming in. Gonna try and find some this weekend.

Where exactly is the "white sign"?

I normally fish waterfall, 309, pelican and old 287.

That's great news. I'll take 40 in two hours any day. I bet it was a bit nautical out there today with the wind.

There's a white sign on the dam between the the 309 flat and the water fall. Caught a few at the water fall also.

Very nautical !
