Now I'm sure I'll probably take some razzing for this but for some reason using an underwater camer has peaked my interest a bit. My expectations aren't very high as far as what I'll be able to see and what not but is there anybody on here know what underwater cameras are compatible with a lowrance hds gen 3? If so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I won't laugh one bit, in fact I'd love to have one myself! Any waterproof camera that will fit the plug will work but it will have to have its own battery to power it up. I see this question asked on bass boat central all the time and there is almost never a response, it doesn't sound like many guys use them.

That go pro works pretty good looks like. I guess I never thought about going that route I have a contour gd helmet cam that I wore overseas and I've always been fond of it just never paid much attention to the go pro products but maybe that's about to change. Just gotta get my green LEDs and a couple light bars to keep from crashing into any more timber and then I'll have to save up and get me one.

It would be nice to see real time video, can the Go Pro do this?
