How many of you throw them and how often? Trailers or No? Just looking to expand my use on these baits, Thanks!

I always put a swimbait on spinnerbaits and swim jigs, but prefer a grub on chatter baits. A craw will always go on my jigs.

Should add swimbait trailer with skirt or without skirt.

The magic color recently at a lake behind my Pops house has been Junebug. Didn't have a Junebug colored chatter so I took a black and blue and used a Missle Baits D Bomb in their "Junebug" color and did pretty well last weekend with it.

only colors you need are white and chartreuse matched with a Lake Fork Trophy Lures boot tail magic shad (white pearl) and blue gill paired with a boot tail magic shad in sun perch. they work wonders and out perform spinnerbaits everywhere except docks (atleast for me). the sections in the bait give it alot more action and the boot tail style will give it action even when on the fall compared to the live magic shad.

I'm 50/50 with either a swimbait or no trailer at all on bladed swim jigs.

I have been trying to throw them more lately and have had some success with zoom flukes(not super flukes). Also, reaction innovation skinny dipper gas done some good to me. Hope this helps. The fluke looks great in the water btw.

Thanks for the replies fellas! Gonna try a swimbait as a trailer this weekend, I usually just throw it without a trailer

I use swimbaits, flukes. If you need a slower motion, put an additional blade ahead of your chatterbait/ bladed jig. For me, it works even better and can act as a super-slow buzzbait.
