Spotted bass in lake conroe?

Some literature talks about them being in the lake, others (like TPWD) doesn't list them as being there. Just curious.

They are in a few lakes tpwd doesn't list them.
I've never seen one in Conroe but have heard of people catching them.
It's possible. They are in lake Houston and both lakes are built on the San Jacinto river system.

Yes, they live there. Look for rocks and you will find them. No real big ones though

You can catch them every once in a while. Always small.

look closer. jaw is even with eye....on large mouth it is past the eye.....
not saying Im 100pct right but I did lay the fish down and look at it because I was shocked when I caught it. the eye and jaw were even.
