I've decided to Keep my boat, but try to sell the motor it was bought from boatwhisperer on the forum, it has charging issues and I just don't have the funds to work on it right now, so I would just like to sell it...I would like to get 2800$ please message me for more info! Is your starter battery not charging? Could be an easy fix. Might just be your Voltage Regulators are bad. Two small black boxes with wires coming out of them on the back of the motor. You can google what they look like, sometimes you can see they are bad, you will see a hole burned right through them. about $100.00 each and you can change them yourself, very easy.

yes sir ... my starting battery isn't charging and also if you look at the stator there is a burnt winding...that's a 300-500 dollar fix

check some of the fourums on bassboatcentral.com for extra parts people are always parting out motors and its a cheaper fix then replacing your motor
