2 rebel crick hoppers, 3 rebel craws, and 4 discontinued yo zuri snap beans. I think the snap beans might be the smallest production crankbait ever made. 23 bucks shipped.

Wow I've never seen those snap beans before. Do you think one would hold up to a 5lb bass?

Yeah, they would. They require 2-4 pound line to cast effectively, so a 5 pound bass would be unlikely but not impossible.

What kind of baitcaster do you prefer to use to throw line and lures that light? I'm really wanting to get into some ultralight action.

Its all about spinning gear, 2-4 pound line, and ultralight/ light action rods. I have yet to see a baitcast reel that can handle 4 pound line, or 1/32 and 1/16th oz baits. I have tried those ultralight round crappie baitcasts and they are junk. I use a shimano stradic 1000 and I love it.
