The fish in pic 2 and 4 have a unique color, sort of a turquoise color to them. I am not sure how common that is among perch but I have not seen that before that I can remember. There are three small lakes that are connected to each other and I only catch them in those lakes. I would be interested to know if anyone else catches perch with that color scheme?

Looks like fish 2 and 4 are Longear with a possibility of being hybrid. Fish down here are starting to show off their spring colors. Lots of bright orange and dark greens.

Nice catch. #1- Longear #2- Longear #3- Looks like a juvenile Redear #4- Hybrid, most likely Longear and Bluegill mix. Ive caught similiar ones #5- Bluegill
