Took a lil trip down to JP looking for a few early morning crappie! They were no where to be found so I went an got me a box of night crawlers and IT WAS ON!!! Most fish were caught more deep than shallow! I left with 12 or so! Someone posted a video of how to eat em in the other post and man did it ever come in handy! Folks I sure appreciate the tips because they PAID OFF!!! fish

Got a few cat fillets and tail-chips mixed in as well lol!

Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

"STAY ready for the THUMP"!!!!

We can only hope. The climate here in the Springs isn't much different than the Panhandle. Should have at least seen some eggs developing if the Spawn was gonna take place next month. Might be the May new moon or full moon in July. This wind isn't helping matters up here. It doesn't hurt the Spawn too bad, but makes fishing more difficult than little wind.

I use Louisiana seasoned fish fry in the blue bag...jus don't over season your fish because it can get salty very easily!!!

I use the same fry. I also took a tip from "Smithaven" and I spread mustard on em before dipping them in the fry. They really turn out GREAT.
