April 11th Coleto Bassmasters will host an Open Team Tournament. $200 per team, good payout, refreshments, and the bite is on! Come to early registration the evening before at the park office or register the morning of.

How are they going to do the take-off. I was told they did a shotgun start last year. Sounds dangerous to me. Anyone have any info about this?

Correct- my misprint- $100 per team. They will draw numbered tokens at registration and be allowed to leave in numbered order or we will allow boats to idle out but not allowed to begin fishing until a designated time.

Official word is that boats will be allowed to idle out after being checked but no fishing until 7am.

It was an excellent tournament. Almost everyone caught fish. The only problem is the lake has a huge number of juvenile bass in the 1 to 2 lb. class. Almost every fish was the same size. It was fun though catching fish all day!
