Love mine. Good for the hollow bellies. Use the bigger Bobby's Perfect Frog Rod for horny toads.

It's all a preference deal really, I use a 105.76 for speed frogs , don't like my Bobby's perfect for them , I have a custom swimbait rod I made out of the 10XD PowerTackle that I'll use now and then on floaters in lighter cover. For the most part I'm so far back in the slop a d thick pads I stick with the Bobby's

Better take that frog off. I love my TFO rods, but I blew this one into 4 pieces. That's the 2nd TFO I've done that to.

Continuing this thread. Anyone else use the Denali Rosewood? Looking for more reviews. Going to buy a new frog rod with all the high water.

I use a Falcon Cara mike Mccelland heavy cover 7'4" model CCB-6-174 as my frog rod. I like the tip on the rod that allows me to walk the bait, but enough backbone to pull them out. I use 50lb power pro on a revo are 7.1. Couldn't get bit last sat on a hollow body but did catch several on a ribbit. Coach

I don't know if the new magnesiums are lighter than the one you had but I got one recently for a frog rod.

It's the 7.3 heavy mod fast seems perfect so far. It is heavier than my klx and helium 3's but t hasn't bothered me yet and those others are really light so...

If yiu grab one and it feels too heavy maybe step up to the klx 7.3 h mod fast or 7.3 mh mod fast.

X2
I have the Cara T7 Christie Frog Rod. I was a little concerned because I'm used to a 7' or longer frog rod but I like the 6' 11" Christie Rod. I use 65 lb braid and can chunk a frog as far as I want to. I can also skip it under willow tree branches with no problem. I've pulled out some bass buried up in pads so it has plenty of backbone to pull them out of the thick stuff.
