I'd like to talk about the 4" Ring Worm. I've been fishing the one from Zoom, only one I can get my hands on at the moment. I've been throwing it on an 1/8 oz head, sometimes open hook or rigging it as a shakey head. Either way, this worm has been surprising me a lot lately, especially swimming it close to shore at the various places I fish. I fished yesterday for a couple hours at a lake near my house, and caught 6 on the ring worm alone, a couple off the bottom, including a solid 15" crappie. The others just by swimming it. The black/blue tail, watermelon/chart tail and green pumpkin have been the best. My best bass so far off a ring worm this year was a 3 lber. Granted it's spring so the fish are up shallow and actively feeding, but these worms have been fun to fish. I recommend trying them out if you're looking for an alternative search bait to spinnerbaits, cranks, traps or spinners.

I've never tried these, I'm going to try and find some and give them a shot over the next week or so.

There is a place in Longview that sells 4" curl tail ringworm in black with silver glitter that is awesome. Can't remember the name of the place but it is on 259 just north of the loop.
