I know that some of the pictures you post are the same fish you just turn them over(lol).
Now that's funny. I wasn't smart enough to think about that. Now I can catch twice the fish I did before Fixing to head out and try a new creek today.

Due to some joint issues I've been holding back from chasing these whites. Normally I would start looking for them in late December, but I chose to wait this year till they were in full spawn mode. I guess that time has come, so onward to do some bank fishing I go. I hope to run into a few of you out there this year as well. Going over to a river this morning to see how that is doing first, but hope to hit the creek a few times next week.

I would say that white bass fishing was great this morning but I would be lying. It was insane Jason and I went out this morning and I caught 80. Jason can attest to it because I counted out loud to him every time I caught one He was ready to go when I got to 78 but I made him stay for 2 more as I told Alan I would catch 80 today and I did, LOL EVERYONE was catching fish. It didn't matter which lure, line size, etc. I think you could have caught them on cigarette butts and 50 lb. line this morning. That means if I turned them over and took pictures of both sides I caught 160 White bass interceptor What an incredible day

Jmoe I agree. The fishing was on fire. I did not catch 80 but I did catch 32 at Newmans. Caught my limit by 10:15am after starting fishing around 7:30. Caught 26 in one hole which had mostly females and caught 6 at the first spot which were all males. Also I had a run in with a hybrid. I threw my line out and my spool got tangled. When I got it untangled and and started reeling it felt heavy and then it came out of the water with its bluish tint and fat belly. Thankfully it spit the hook.It made a hell of a splash when it hit the water. It was CRAZY!!!!!

Hey Joe great job. leave some till Monday. Even the one you are holding looks like one you had on a previous post (lol). Man, you are asking for it. My Cajun grandpa taught me a potent curse. Just ask Ben. He kept taunting me and I put it on him. He went 6 months without catching a decent fish Great job JonL,

Is the mouth of the Yegua hard to find from the main lake right now? Thinking of taking my kayak out tomorrow.

My first trip wasn't so bad, ended up with 41. But I got a get back over there on some Summerville fish due to the quality of those fish.

Met up with bigbassman90 this morning in Summerville, my first time there. We had a good time caught some nice whites and lost a lot more jigs. I ran out of my hot color for the day and the bite got slow. Bigbassman90 was on fire all day , that guy has got this white bass nailed down . Really good dude there, over all it was great day and this wont be my last time to fish the creeks. Biggest fish of the day was 16 1/2 and 2.3 lbs.!!!!!

Wow, nice catches. After seeing the day all of you had, I would love to be able to get out there tomorrow. Looks like the weather situation has really deteriorated for tomorrow though.

Don't listen to the weather guys, heck they said Saturday was gonna be real nasty and it turned out be a beautiful day. Or the weather channel I listen to said that anyway. They were calling for hail, strong winds, tornados and flooding. I thought it was gonna be a wash out type day, so I went to the river before the rains arrived and the rain never showed up, but the fish did.
