Should have gotten the TX number and turned him in. A boater us responsible for his wake damages.

Law is no good unless enforced. Instead of running around and trying to scam Minnow fisherman for $350 for not having their receipt, the game wardens should be giving tickets for the No Wake Zone violations.

I fished lake Fork yesterday at the 515 bridge in a no wake zone. I was tied up to a bridge pillar but bounced like a bucking bronc all day due to yahoo's in their 250 HP Bass Boat blasting through that area at max speed. If I would have been in a little jon boat I would have been swamped or sunk. It was a warm day so I launched my boat without waders and I can tell you that 54 deg water was unpleasant.

I think that boat is right next to I35 bank. It looked a little low to me the last two times I was out. I didn't stop by and check it out.

That has to be a total loss. Engines, generator and all electrical underwater for extended time. I have come across a few sunken boats through the years. I always wonder who removes them?

Yes the owner is reponsible for charges. It would be a private salvage company like Tow Boat lewisville that would recover the boat if the owner could not do it him self. There are actually more boats go down than most folks ever know. For example had a boat catch fire on Texoma a few weeks ago in High port. I did not recover it as was busy at my reg job but Tow Boat Texoma did the work. I work part time for Tow boat Texoma and stay busy with salvage work.

That houseboat has been there awhile. He was living on it, when it was beached. I think he finally gave up on it.
