I enjoyed participating in the R & D of Ronbrella. Glad you were able to come out and enjoy the day Saturday. I think we all would have enjoyed it more if the stripers had been willing to participate as well. The box fish were ok, but wanted to test the new rigs on some double digit fish. I will probably try them in the trees at PK next week. And probably also get to try the retrievers.

I have been watching the progression of these and my understanding is that Ron started building them specifically for the bass guys who found them to be the best quality available (wires weren't rusting and breaking) and caught quality fish when others couldn't. Then they used them on hybrids and again tore them up. Ron has been working with a bunch of guides/fisherman to tweak them and has come up with some unique options that let you zone in on the targeted specie and conditions your fishing. I have seen them but have not fished them yet but can't wait to get my hands on them. They look like they will last a lifetime compared to a lot of the junk I have seen and used before.
Now if I can just talk him into building me some crappie rigs that work as well. If not, they will definitely put the striper/hybrids in the boat.

I ordered some of these a few months ago from Ron. They are better quality than anything I have seen and his customer service is fantastic.
