It is leaking at the motor when I prime it. It would die when idling after it burned up the gas I primed it with. It ran fine other than idle. I noticed the leak and cleaned both ends real well. It is still leaking a little and someone said just put a nipple in and get rid of the quick connect since I never use it. I do not remember the gas line size from the primer bulb to the motor. I was thinking 5/16" but looking at the connectors in Overton's it says 3/8" on the motor side. I am just going to replace the whole line. What size should I buy?

Either should work. Make sure you get an ethanol rated line.

3/8" with a smaller line size you will produce more restriction for the manual fuel to have to overcome

It would be better to just run the line straight to the fuel pump one less place to suck air or leak and yes it is 5/16 line...OPTI

I had 3' foot of 5/16" laying around and was prepared to run it straight from the primer bulb to the tee below the oil pump. My neighbor picked up the female end of quick connect and said "hey there is an O ring in there. It was a bear to replace but I had one of the right size so we did.
