Fished the Cypress Creek located deep in the Texas Hill Country. This is one AWESOME place to fish. Piece and quite, lots of good clear water, and some very hungry sunnies not to mention some fantastic scenery. Fished from 9:30am till 1:30pm and caught over forty fish. Redbreast in the 8 to 9 inch range,Bluegill in the 7 to 8 inch range, several small bass, and a few Longear rounded out the catch. The fish were healthy and full of fight. Fish were caught using worms with a bottom technique. Fish were located in the deeper pockets of the creek holding close to the bank by brush piles and overhanging tree limbs. All fish were released to fight again. Fishing the BEAUTIFUL Cypress Creek. It just don't get any better. fish

Nice pictures, looks like a great place and you had a great morning

My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

Went to the river down here this afternoon, looks like a soupy chocolate shake, still high enough they have the boat ramp in the park closed. Will still be a week or two for it to drop more and clear. Back to the gavel pits tomorrow.

Great looking creek Banker. Where is it located? Out of my range I'm sure, but just curious.

There are certain parts of the creek that are open to the public and there are a lot of places that are not. I was fishing in both public and non public spots with owner permission on the private spots. thumb
