Got out of work at two today. They have just come to understand when sandbass are in the river I'm taking two hour lunches and getting out early on my five o'clock days and will probably be tired when I get there because I just got off the water. I was afraid the front would mess them up bit peeked over the first pool I came to and there were to many fish to count. Packed down away from the crowds and found a lone hole. From three to seven it was a sandbass slug fest. It took a sec to get dialed in the fish would not take pulling upstream. But as soon as I moved to the bottom of the pool and brought the clouser right down the seam I the current and the eddy it was every single cast at least hooked up for a sec. My thumbs are raw because they were not just taking it almost 90 percent the fly was right in the roof of the mouth. I normally grab them at the belly but had to lip them today to push the fly back. Didn't take long to crimp the barb to get them off quicker. Hey Keith even took and ugly fish picture for you. Didn't go home wish I could have done more video. Would have been a good day for it. Left them biting at seven to go have dinner with the little lady. Half way in the house I get ugh you smell like fish bad as I preceded to try and put my hand in her face lol:)

Greatness. Looks like you've been sanding something with the wrong side of the paper. Always a good read. A little cold front never hurt nobody especially those hungry fish. Sore lips in that creek for sure.

Jesse10 my buddy with me today lives by where I ran into you the other day he fished it yesterday they where scattered. Why he made the long haul with me today. But that will be on in the next week as the water falls! After today I'm not getting up early but I will hit the local on lunch tomorrow. After the localized rain we got it should be hot.

I went for about thirty min on lunch break just caught two sandies and three yellows. But I'm hitting them hard tomorrow and Monday.

Wednesday I'll be looking for a ten+ bass on my private water. My uncle was there last week gin clear water and fat mammas on beds every where they caught several over 7 no tens though.

It really stinks with the late ice storm the eggs are ripe. Females get in get out I had to work on a presentation for my girls work and got my garden tilled. I hear fish backed out. Last two years we didn't have many creeks with water but the ones that did had them three months. I'll get out tomorrow and see what I find after work. Just going to be a weird year I think. You never know I got dialed in two days ago and put the hammer down and my buddy struggled. May be time to turn to bass fishing.
