You can get minnows at lakeway, leroys, and a few of the gas stations off of 380.

Thx, I found minnows....caught a couple these, about 5 foot deep, 1 foot off the bottom, on minnow. No where near 380 bridge.

I just talked with a buddy and he went out last night and blanked. I am going out there Tomorrow night (last day in March) to try it out.

OMG, you guys are zeroing in on my secret spot.  Took me 7 hrs to catch 2 crappie, and I did not see anyone catching fish. When the fish move to the real shallow, less than 3 feet, it's going to be tough fishing with all that flooded vegetation. Do they make weedless jigs?
