I used lake view yesterday. 19' BassCat. Must have done something wrong because I had a helluva time getting the nose of the boat over the trailer roller.

Fishing was slow. Caught 3 pounders on a green pumpkin grub along isolated rocks. Fond 65 degree water in the first marina before you get to Harbor One. Couldn't find them stacked up anywhere.

Anyone else have better success yesterday, and if so, what did you do?

The lake looks like it is 20' low..

It's not a problem if you know where the main channel is. About 25 yards east of the huge sandbar (the one NE of the island)is generally safe. Lots of shallow water and stumps farther to the east. Keep your speed down unless you know you are in the channel.

I would like to take the kids out tomorrow but am not so sure about the safety of Eagle Mountain. I understand that Lakeview is the only one open?

Thank you Lord for the gifts in my life

i stopped by and looked at lakeview today and they were dredging more. With hopefully more rain in the next 2 weeks twin points should be good.

The lake is just fine, between lake view and the real island is the only sketchy part. Stay in the Channel and you'll be fine. Everything past the island is perfect. Getting into lauderdales is a little sketchy.
