I always ask for help on Ray Bob and none is given. I honestly think there are no fish in it. Haha

One of the biggest tournaments of the year is 2 days from now, then another next weekend, then another the next weekend. It is going to be tight lipped for a while.

Put in at buck creek and drop the tm at the ramp and stay in there all day. I would be throwing a t rig brush hog, a c rig lizard, flipping jig, spinnerbait and squarebill if I was going out there tomorrow. If you wanted to fish other areas I would suggest putting in at Jordan and try fishing Lick and walnut creeks they are fairly easy to idle into. Probably be over 200 boats on the water Saturday, but you still should be able to find some fish.

I absolutely smashed em ytday in the marina had 21 fish best 5 went 23 lbs. I started the day with a bandit 100 in brown craw color. the fish where in 2 ft of water early around the flooded shoreline cover. Then as the day went on and that bite slowed down I backed off into 5-7 ft with a tx rigged brush hog and a rattle snake in trophy hunter on a shaky head and pegged some more good solid keepers. Fun day but that wind was a little chilly.

You've already got some good advice in this thread. Most of the talk lately has been about Indian and Isle du Bois Creeks. No one mentioned Sand Branch yet or Cate's Point.

Go back a couple of pages in this forum and look for threads about RR. When you see someone posting some good info, click on their name and go back and look at the list of their posts for other RR posts, especially those that were from this same time of year.

Marina is a great spot. I believe it will be off limits for the tournament, or at least it used to be, so you won't have too many boats in your way there.

Put in at Jordan, when you leave the ramp take a left and keep turning left into sand branch, it is like a separate lake, good fishing.

For an easy day...this is great advice. Head west from the ramp and fish the northern side of Buck all the way to Big Fish point and then work your way north. Plenty of grass there. T-rig / Jig, Jerk baits, spinner baits/chatterbaits in white/chart will be your magic.

Good luck!

Upper end is pretty muddy still. I wouldn't worry about the tourney.... there is plenty of room.

And I know who "Jeff" is.
