Nice ties! Sometimes they love the little jigs and I still have some little really short jigs made by Blue Fox, but they have not made them in a long time. Crappie loved the, too even long line trolling that I was doing.
Congrats,

I have had a few on jigs, but for the most part every day its been back to the 1 inch slider, They want it on 1/48th or 1/64th and most days hot pink and silver glitter tail. the other days watermelon and chart tail.

I've tied a nice assortment 12 jigs each size and 12 different combos. I have 1/100, 1/80, 1/50, 1/32, 1/16, 3/32 and find early right after ice out, the 1/80 and 1/50 are most productive. The 1/100 must be too light because it is rare to catch a crappie on them. Bluegill are a different story. they are on hhoks from #8 thru #4 and rarely get swallowed, usually, lip hooked is the norm. Which tells me they are testing the bait more of a reaction bite than actively feeding, But its nice to be catching when everyone else is fishing.

Do you guys paint the 1/64 and smaller? I do. I need to get me a smaller mold than 1/48th. I love small jigs.
