My team and I decided to head out and see if we could find any monsters lurking around. Friday night was slow with only one 25" black drum. We were targeting black drum for the Drum Master's 2015 Tournament. We woke up Saturday to not just sticks in the surf but in some cases whole trees. They were being pushed in with the tide and for the better part of the day we struggled to keep our lines in the water. It seemed that all of the BIG trees were coming right at us. We even had to winch one out of the surf because it got stuck on the first bar right in front of our lines.

Saturday night things started to pick up. We averaged a fish about 45 minutes. Here are some of our better catches.
