Before I bought my Legend I had an XPress X18 and I bought a Stick-it Anchor Pin Brake and it was awesome for that little boat. It something like $150 and comes in a variety of lengths. Easy install and worked awesome.

I've got a Tracker Grizzly 15'.
Works great on it.

I just st got a anchor pin and bracket from skinny angler. The bracket I got goes on my trolling motor. No drilling into your boat required.

I bought one for my 16 foot Lowe Stinger and ended up returning it. Unless your are fishing really shallow it's useless. Also, in heavy wind the boat will just spin in a circle around the power pole.

Is that anchor pin from skinny angler weighted or what? How does it stay dug into bottom? I could see it staying ok with a muddy bottom but does it work in rocks or other hard bottoms?

if there is any issue with holding to bottom you can stretch a bungee from the eye bolt on the anchor pin down to the mount for constant holding pressure.

cheers

Thanks anytide! I might be placing an order with you soon. I really want some talons but I don't wanna drop that kind of money in my older rig.

If you get the micro power pole, I'd like to hear how it works. For the price, it sounds like it might be the ticket and i wouldn't mind adding a second one later. I don't think that I want something stocking up in front of my boat taking away casting room plus I don't think that it would be good on the terrova. Like the idea of just pushing a button to deploy
