The 2015 Texas Police Games Bass Tournament will be held on Lake LBJ year, below is the link for registration as well as dates and times. This will be a great event and we are hoping for a great turn out. Feel free to contact the director listed below or hit me up with a PM.

Early Registration is $30 per person and late registration begins on March 15th at $60 per person

ELIGIBILITY: The Police Games require all competitors to meet the following basic standards, or have retired from an agency where, when employed, did meet these standards. 1. As your primary vocation be employed/retired as a law enforcement officer, parole, probation officer, correctional/detention officer on a full time basis. Retired military police officers from all branches of military service whose career duty assignment was law enforcement. Active reserve officers with at least one years service with the law enforcement agency who holds his/her commission (verification of active status and tenure is required) . 2. Law enforcement officers must meet the standards set forth by the state or country in which you work, and be certified in your state or country if your state or county requires such certification. **Please refer to the website for further information on eligibility**
BASS TOURNAMENT RULES The TPAF is the guiding body for the Games. The TPAF rules will apply in all cases with the exception of any local rules. TPAF RULES 1. No fishing from bank allowed. 2. All contestants must wear coast guard approved P.F.D. 's while their boat is on plane with the kill switch attached to the driver. 3. Boat must have a working aerated live well system. 4. Only one rod per contestant may be used at a time. 5. Artificial bait only - no live bait allowed. 6. No trolling allowed. 7. Use of trolling motor does not constitute "trolling". 8. Host city coordinator will determine starting fishing times. 9. Host city coordinator will determine morning check-in times. 10. Empty live well checks will begin at time designated by host city coordinator. 11. Competition ends each day at time designated by hosting city coordinator. 12. Each competitor must check in at official table and pick up fish bag. 13. There will be a 1/4-pound penalty assessed for each dead fish weighed in each day. 14. If a contestant has a stressed fish, the fish may be weighed prior to the designated weigh in time to save the fish. However, that fish counts towards the end of day total. 15. Results will be posted at the end of each day of competition. 16. There will be no pre-fishing or off limits restrictions. 17. The coordinator of the hosting city will determine late weigh in policy. 18. Event coordinators, staff, and volunteers will be on site. 19. There will be an individual tournament and a team tournament each day. Teams must fish from the same boat. The coordinator may pair single competitors if both agree. 20. No fishing is allowed within 200 yards of the weigh in/release point anytime during the two (2) day tournament. 21. All competitors will start each day’s fishing from a common launch site. 22. In the event of inclement weather, all competitors will assemble at the designated launch site. After a waiting period, mutually agreed by all competitors, the event coordinators shall make the final determination of continuing or ending the tournament. State and Local Rules, if Applicable 1. Five (5) fish limit per person. 2. Ten (10) fish limit per team. 3. Fish will be 14 inches in length unless State or Federal rules apply. There will be a one (1) pound penalty for each short fish and the short fish will not be weighed. A flat board will be used to determine the length of tournament fish. Only Large Mouth Black Bass, Kentucky and Small Mouth will be weighed.
