Hardly ever, to [censored], scout the bottom, or strech, and thats pretty much it. I've even learned to cast a 6' net while my seat is in the high position.

I find myself standing a lot more when I fish ponds. Not an option so I didn't include it but if fishing a smaller body of water where the wind has less effect I stand a lot more. 75% or so.

I prefer to stand as much as possible. When I stand I have better control casting, pitching, and setting the hook. You will lose more fish(that jump) sitting down in a kayak than standing up.

depends on how I'm fishing and the wind. I probably sit most of the time, because...well, when is the wind not blowing 25mph.

I'm pretty new to kayak fishing and I have spent my whole life standing and fishing from banks or in small boats. So standing is more comfortable to me. I'm sure ill sit more in certain circumstances but I stand probably 75% of the time.

If it's flat enough I stand, and you can guarantee I'll be if there's some on lookers. It's always fun to hear someone say, "look! that guy is standing in his kayak... and fishing!!"

I would say the kayak would determine that for me,I have the WS115x and can stand in it but it does take effort on my part. I prefer to stand and do sometimes but 80% sitting down
