Nice blank I buy lure hardware from them...I guess I need to check out their lure blanks, too.
What are you using as your clearcoat...looks good?

here's the new "black mamba". original idea came from a guy on the bbc forum. i need to get some reptile eyes for it. that would really add a distinct look.

Like that scale pattern.....the eyes really make a lure come alive....6mm or so snake eyes would really give it that reptile look. Good work!

I've tried just about every type clear coat, MCU, Eagle, AC1315, Devcon..etc. I think Devcon is the easiest and most forgiving to work with. The others are pretty finicky. Currently getting some nice finishes with concrete sealers but many things have to be just right to use them (temp, humidity, paint dryness, etc.)

These are ready for a new home, I painted them for someone, but we were not on the same page about the finished product.

It is a pearl white base with one drop of sterling silver for the base color

Brad, you are over your limit for PM's. I'm curious if you wanted to swap some lures. I make just about everything other than cranks.

Just finished these three out with Devcon 2 part Epoxy. None of the other clear coats look as good as Devcon after one coat. Takes about three coats of the others to get the same shine. Anybody using concrete sealers? How many dips and how long between dips?

Ac1315 for me 3 dips usually 30 minutes between and it is a lot more durable once fully cured from what I have seen.
