We are proud to be able to bring back the Mariner Sails Working Man's Tournament again this year. This will start March 12th. The first tournament will be held at Katie's woods @ Lake Grapevine. We will try to move it around every week or so to keep things interesting (but we will be limited to all the construction going on). Mariner Sails has graciously donated $25 gift certificate to the winner every week. The Tournament will start at 6Pm and end at 9pm. You have to check in at 6pm at Katie's Woods ramp to get your identifier. Everyone has to be back at the ramp by 9pm.

there are a few rules
-You have to have a PDF.
-You have to have a 360 light.
-You have to have a Hog Trough (preferred)
-We are fishing for Bass (Large Mouth & Small Mouth)
-Min Length is 10 inches.
-Human powered only. Kayak's/Paddleboards... etc.

This is a CPR tournament, so you will need either a camera or a good phone to take a picture of your catch with. This is a great way to try out tournament fishing without breaking the bank. Plus you will meet great people (I know I did). If anyone has any questions feel free to post on here or pm me, Jason Delfraisse, or Bryan Row.

Wish we could do one of these at benbrook or somewhere closer for the Fort Worth folks. No way in heck i can make it to Grapevine from Fort Worth by 6 pm in rush hour traffic to try and fish one of these. Sounds like fun though! Im just jealous I guess lol

For those who want to try out Kayaking for their first time, I will bring along my extra 12' Pescadore so you can try it out. The first to RSVP will get to use it. I just don't want 4-5 people to show up expecting to be able to use 1 kayak. If you want to fish, please bring your own gear.

Is the Hawg Trough the only measuring device we can use? If so does anybody know where I can find one if the North Fort Worth are, I've looked at Cabela's multiple Academy's and all I can find are the folding Rapala ones or the Plano ones.

you can get them at Angler's Pro Tackle. Most tournaments won't let you use any of the adjustable one's just because they are adjustable. When you purchase your Hawg trough, make sure you go over the lines with a permanent marker so it is even more legible.

I would like to try and come out for one of these events in the summer after the kids are out of school. If you come up with a schedule for the events I could plan to make it out for one or more. This sounds awesome!
