Anyone have anything good or bad to share from personal experience with the ramp n clamp latch. Considering a purchase. Looks like it would be nice to have. Things I have read on the boat buddy say they do not hold up and or last very long. Thanks

I used boat buddy on all my boats from 1985 thru about 1995. Loved em. Never had to replace one. Put one on 5 different trailers in that time & loved em.then I quit fishing. Just bought another boat & fishing again. Looking to put another one on. Quality may have went down since then but if it has I'll use another brand. They are great when you've got 2' waves coming in on a ramp in stormy weather. Two people retrieval on ramp & off in about 20 seconds without worry of boat sliding off going up ramp.
