Glad someone is catching fish. I think they removed my fish catching mojo when I had my surgery. I am going to have to try harder so I can defend my honor. F4F better enjoy dogging me while I am still recovering, lol.

Hope you wife is doing well George. It is nice of you to not leave her alone too much and make sure when she is able to get out some to get her out of the house a little bit. It is terrible to look at the same old walls every day for a long time. Trust me, I just had to do it for a few weeks.

Thank you W4F. She is recovering well. Nasal and sinus surgery. Looks almost normal today, but for awhile her face looked like she had gone a round with Rocky Balboa. She's had an ongoing headache for 18 months now. After different therapies, cat scans and a bunch of other stuff, and figurin' out that I wasn't the cause of it, it was determined it was sinus problems. They did a similar surgery about 6 months ago and did no good, even worse. I think the Doc was a trainee. We prayed and got a new Doc (much older). We're countin' on better results this time. She's a real trooper and believer in the healing power of God.

Hope you guys get on them soon. According to my depthfinder I left y'all a lakefull of fish just waitin' for you.

Hi George, Good to hear your wife is recovering. Remember Dr's are only "practicing" medicine. Like you I prefer one with a lot of "practice". Will try to get on the water today if the wind holds.

Anybody fishing? Heard the bubbles were turned off Tues. Anybody know if there still off. Hope to fish tomorrow, any reports would be appreciated.

I can confirm the bubbles were off Wednesday up to 1:00pm. Saw a good amount of birds feeding around the pump tower area that day, fished it some but nada.

We had planned on going to Stillhouse if it's not to windy. Want to try for Whites and Crappie.. If it's going to be windy, we more likely go to Belton.

has anyone ate at the BBQ place Backyard BBQ. if you have not stop in there when you are comming from TLP at the intersection where you turn to go to the Dam take a left at the intersection then it is like the second building on the left. the sign says BBQ around back i think. get a bubba tater. trust me it is GOOD. i get a bubba tater with brisket no sourcream.

I went to backyard BBQ and it is actually the intersection comming away from ROGERS PARK where the road's come together and make's a Y. take a left and it is the second building on the right (at the intersection). it is WEST of the Beef Barn. the sign says BBQ IN REAR.

Thanks a lot yellowcat! I used your previous directions just after dark and I ended up in back of someone's house just north of Clem's. When I asked them for a bubba tater they unchained their dog and called the police. Police don't believe me about the bubba tater. I told 'em about yellowcat givin' me directions...didn't believe that either.
