Headed up to Texoma in April for some striper fishing. One of the baits I plan on throwing is an A Rig. There are alot of different ones on the market now. Any suggestions from you striper guys on what rig yall like to throw?

I will have an 0.051 wire A-Rig with 4 blades in about 7 days. Waiting on some crimps. I think the Striper / Hybrid Anglers will like the heavier wire. It sure is a lot harder to bend, bet they handle Striped Bass! Thanks Todd smile

If you make them I'll buy some. I really liked the jigs I got. The retail A rigs have cheap swivels that break. I lost a really nice striper at Highport last year that broke the swivel on a Yumbrella rig.

The rig I use is a triple swivel. I tie a deep diver with about 18" leader, a 5' leader with a large pet spoon to the other. Works for shriper/hybrid and sand bass. Use 40lb test on the leaders

Does anyone else have problems with them getting tangled? Often times one of the swimbaits will get cockeyed or the tail will get tangle with one of the others. Any tips to avoid this?

Buy the umbrella rig heads from Mark Pack. His structure guard will not tangle, no matter how hard your try.
