Don't keep fish from Breckenridge. It was a city dump and they turned it into a park. Those things that look like light poles.... methane gas vents. Have fun!

Yesterday...I got one, another man caught a 3 pounder on a spincast reel using a real worm. I used a rubber lizard. Several sun fish were also caught on real worms...and of course, I reached down in the water and caught a small turtle by hand...little girl nearby holding it for a shot.

The water is very clear on the edges, and several feet out. I/we saw several bass, and a few very large ones. There was one 12" off the edge, near the nest. I could not get that bass to bite for anything, no matter what. She had more patience than I did, and more than the guy fly fishing for 1 hour before me.

Addendum: There was also one very large bass, near the waterfall, with a large, white wound on it. Can you make out the wound and fish?

I saw that fish last time I stopped by there....I think it was attacked by a snake or something.
