I fish a lot but haven't found any good local areas around here so if anyone knows any good holes it would be greatly appreciated and would also like to know what they bite on. Looking for LMB but also would like to know of areas with different fish.

Fishing has been tough this time of year but in e few more weeks it will starting getting really good. There are lots of good places. Frisco Commons is a good spot in Frisco and also Warren Sports complex. A decent little spot in Plano is Stoney Hollow. I go kayak fishing in Prosper at Prosper Town lake but I have never had a stellar day at Prosper. But from what I know Prosper has other ponds to fish. Check TPWD for a list of public fishing ponds in Texas. Good luck hope that helps. Maybe some others can reccomend some spots to go, and welcome to the forum.

Town Lake in Prosper is WAY overfished. There are WAY too many yakkers out there on any given day and the fish are much harder to catch now that they've had everything in the book thrown at them multiple times. This is only a 30 acre lake and I've seen as many as 13 yaks out there during the day. Give the place a rest for awhile.

I know what you mean it does get hit hard I've never seen that many kayaks out there but it gets a ton of pressure but then so does Bethany Lakes in Allen. I've been to Prosper maybe 6 or 7 times at the most. I got like 4 small bass to show for it. Its a fun paddle though but not on my top ten list I have much better places to take the kayak.

You talking about the section of white rock creek up there, I saw a few kayaks on it yesterday where do you park over there?
