I need to go fishing!! Can't seem to find any guys who I can fish with in the Waco area!??? Where are y'all?

I met Tyler (lews4life)yesterday at BPS, good guy with a great drive to fish. We'll have to meet up and share some TOW soon man

I'm usually out in a canoe with my wife. I'm still exploring different spots around Waco. We have been putting in at the flat rock access but will probably be on the rivers more until it really warms up. Maybe see you around sometime!

There was a lot of boat traffic on Waco today.

There was a ton yesterday but it seems as though nobody was having any luck, at least the guys I talked to. I caught a bluecat right before sundown yesterday. Was anything biting today?

I only fished around the marina and back in the creek. I didn't fish for very long and I only used one lure so I guess you can say I didn't really try too hard lol but I saw a guy on a bass boat catch one dink and that was it.

Yea, dinks seem to be the story on Lake Waco here recently. Wait until the water warms up, we'll be pulling them up left and right

I'm out in the Brazos and lake Waco and Bosque rivers weekly surprised we haven't run into one another. I'm in a Jackson Cuda 14 (black and red).Recently I have been catching whites in the south Bosque for a week now. I don't know what part of Waco you live in but if your close you should try it out. It was getting good before this crappy cold front. I live in Hewitt so i'm in that river every wed and sat chasing them down until April then i'm on to bass and crappie on the lake. If you interested in meeting up ill pm you my cell# and we can text and set up a date and time. I fish for anything been fishing since i was a toddler.

i think i saw you trollin the south bosque last week saw a man woman and younger man in a canoe, if that was you i was the big red yak in the river where the river intersects.

Wasn't us, I have been going out at the flat rock access across from the north bosqu. I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about the south bosque producing some results but haven't made it out that way yet. Next warm spell I'll check it out. Is it a good spot to put in under the 84 bridge and work towards the lake?

Yeah the bridge is a good spot to launch but if you don't have a 4wd truck you wont be able to get out if you plan on parking under it.( its really dug out now), its safest to park on the side of the road and walk your boat down the washed out road, which isn't far at all. If yo do go just a warning game wardens have been in their last 2 trips i went, make sure you have life jackets and license for you and the wife if you go.

Yea I was worried about that, I have a 2wd cummins and a few years ago I almost never got out of there but it looks like it's grown up a bit now. And we never go out without being good law abiding citizens anyway so we have nothing to worry about on that front but thanks for the warning!
