No news on the AJ issue... Willie has talked to FW and we can cancel the trip and get our money back up to two weeks out so if the fish council does something stupid we can make a decision then... Unfortunately I really doubt that the decision will be made two weeks out so you can cancel. That's why I suggested a plan B such as deep dropping for tiles, etc. or getting assurance from chops that you can chase shrimp boats for tuna, dolphin and ling. I still think they could divvy up some red snapper tags for this charter if they really wanted to do you right.  yes it would be nice if they would come off of some of their RS tags...

Ok guys, we have just over a month until this trip sets sail and we still have a few spots to fill. Do we know how many spots are left? It's time to get this all figured out and fill those last few spots.

Bill, Willy, I'm curious to know the scoop too. My plans that prevented me from going on this trip have changed and I would like to go "if" what we can target is worthwhile.
Also, what is the cost shaping up to be if no additional spots beyond me sign up?

Group email sent to all committed to TxG3DV charter. Markk, we'll send you the latest update on TxG3DV charter with options and price, etc. You would make 20 and we have a few others that are rumbling about the charter, so we'll get to 24 by the 8th of August, we're confident. Look for an email from us. Bill, Willy, I'm curious to know the scoop too. Here's a thought...maybe we should ask for some red snapper tags regardless of what we fish for. The worst that could happen is that they would say no. Then we are right back where started. We really have nothing to lose by asking and if we sail with 24 guys we are only looking at 96 tags.
